HelloKoreaGuide is written and managed by a Korean local based in Gyeonggi-do, just outside Seoul. With over 13 years of professional
experience and a lifetime of living in Korea, our lead writer brings firsthand knowledge of everything from daily commutes on Seoul’s
subway to hidden restaurant gems that never appear in guidebooks. As a parent raising kids in Korea and someone who regularly hosts
foreign colleagues, the goal has always been simple: share the real Korea that locals actually experience, not just what’s in the tourist brochures.
